Lumen
Art-o-Rama, Marseille / 2022
While the question of light is as much a poetic as a technical springboard for art and its history, it is also one of the main personas inhabiting Marseilles and its region.
By choosing to take part in the Art-o-Rama 2022 fair as a design stand, we wanted to focus on the various artificial lights that illuminate the art world, from neon lights at fairs to studio lights and the screens of our mobile phones.
Object-work, work-object, everyday, useful or dysfunctional, all the lamps on view play along with the designer's exercise in style, which is as dangerous as it is entertaining.
LUMEN was neither a gallery stand, nor a brand, nor an exhibition, nor a collection, nor a franchise. LUMEN was all these things together.
