TOOMANYRECORDSS is an expansive project. Davide Bertocchi and Sergio Verastegui invite artists to make interventions on 33 rpm records to produce a unique hybrid work, consumable (or not), always based on the vinyl/cover format.

The records are chosen according to the body of work or universe of the invited artist who has carte blanche, can create a work with and/or on the sleeve or on the vinyl (or both).

These 'unique' pieces now form a library, a collection of records that are sometimes “listenable”, sometimes not.

An art exhibition booth with a white wall displaying various colorful artworks, including paintings, prints, and album covers. There is a small table with a vintage computer, a vinyl record player, and audio equipment on the floor. Several vinyl records are mounted on the wall, and an electrical extension cord is on the floor.

MORE Projects was invited for a 3 months residency at Aperto, the project space of the Fondation Pernod-Ricard

The residency not only allowed the physical deployment of the project in space but also its continuation, giving an opportunity to expand the circle of contributing artists and also to pursue an ongoing research on the notion of the « record » and the archive.

Throughout these three months MORE Projects was present both as guests and hosts, in a dynamic exchange between display and infiltration through a series of more or less public-private meetings, acts, apparitions and interventions.
